Filippi's will always have a spot in my heart. I worked at Filippi's in East County when I was in my teens. It was where Hillbilly meets Italiano. (If you're from Jamul.. you know what I'm talking about) The crusty wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a certain "je ne sais quoi" that you just don't get anywhere else. AND the checkered table cloths, COME ON, its a work of art. Filippi's has many wonderful items, unfortunately ranch is not one of them. 3/10. Don't get me wrong, it will do the job, but it is nothing to write home about. The real winner here is the ambiance you get.
